Canada Line SkyTrain

Garibaldi Pumice provided Geotech Aggregate for the Canada Line SkyTrain extension from Richmond to Vancouver, BC. Various sites along the SkyTrain corridor were challenged by compressible soils with a near surface, tidally influenced water table. Lightweight pumice aggregate was also used to reduce fill surcharge when a design adjustment required that a walkway be constructed in an area that had not been preloaded.
