Garibaldi Pumice lightweight aggregate has been used in a variety of construction projects.  The low density, high strength to weight ratio and free drainage of dacite pumice aggregate offers an affordable solution to a wide range of geotechnical, infrastructure and water management challenges.  

Lighter material translates into viable use at more sites. Garibaldi Pumice lightweight aggregate has been used in areas with highly compressible soils where other products were determined to be too heavy (Product Comparison PDF click here).  Recent field tests indicate the in place saturated surface dry density of Garibaldi Pumice lightweight fill is approximately 800 kg per cubic metre after machine compaction.
